the grown up world (because we all have to, right?)

you pick him up, scrutinize every single detail that is on the surface
you attempt to scratch the facade, but more often than not, you find that
the facade is hard like diamond, countless and increasingly impentratable layers
built on over time (time really does everything)
nevertheless, you try. because they all say it's worth it.
once you get down deep behind his skin
you will begin to find that his facade was a much much much prettier picture,
makes you wonder why you picked him up in the first place.
each fault, irrational or itty gritty, mammoth in summation, all simply discomforting.
you highlight everyone of them (or just those which you think are significant enough) to him.
if he does compromise and make adjustments to better suit you,
good for you, you did your job, you embettered those in direct contact with him
if not, take the upper hand and qualify,
i'm sure (just 90% coverage, actually) that you can find one with better money and less faults
if you just put yourself out there, once again-absolutely free of him.

Legend:
You= you the auditor
He= the financial statements

fit the above in and viola! you get what audit really is about. second day of internship today.
i may actually be good at it, if it really were my kooky interpretation of it.

can't stay for long, i need to go and practice growing up again.
