i had a great time celebrating it!
haha yes, yoyo is santa claus this year. the hoodie thingie didnt fit though. my sis and i underestimated the big boy. but.... he still looks lk a goat :(

so, taiwan...
Taiwan, the land of jay chou's indisputable talents, smelly fermented toufu (which smells really really nasty) and its many many peaks (not just those of the betel nut chicks or jolin tsai's double G mammaries, but the really gorgeous mountains sprinkled all over the island.)
i'm pretty sure that half their population have been on the taiwanese TV channels at least once in their lifetime. there are like chatshows all the time and they have 5million tv channels. oh oh but the great thing about the tv-craze in taiwan is that almost all the hotel rooms i stayed in (6!) had flat screen plasma sony tvs!
didnt enjoy it as much as i could've mainly cos it was a tour. there is definitely a difference between touring and travelling. the hardselling tactics at the shops we had to visit were really a major turn-off.
the weather was great though; it only rained on the last day!
But i really did relish the delectable sights at the mountainous regions. it was heavenly having a hot hot coffee in the midst of mountains at taroko gorge. such simple fare in amazingly luxurious background. loveeeed it.
lastly,
i learnt to talk like a taiwanese chick! hahha

making one last dash to ximending on free&easy day which i love most!
yuppp, won't say i'm in love with the country but the bubble tea (they brew the tea and boil the pearls at diff times of the day, enough said) and the mountains will be tempting to go back to!
and lastly,
can't believe sch is starting in a week's time!
2009 is coming real soon and in a few days' time, 2008 will be nthing but memories.

Yoyo does look like a spawn of spontaneous inbreeding. He looks much healthier when he's shaggay and furry! And that dog. That Taiwanese dog! It's seducing me! Make it stop. I must punch it. It's not made for human eyes to see! Were it's parents like hotties or something? Hotdogs. Hmm. Ew.
